Opening hours over holidays, when someone is away, local things worth knowing, and occasional general posts. It is a noticeboard, not a clinic.
Clinical questions. Send one and you will get an invitation to ring. That is not us being unhelpful: an answer about your shoulder without seeing your shoulder is a guess, and a guess sent by message is one you might act on.
Appointments. A message asking to move Thursday can sit unread for two days. Phone 0405 379 028 — it is recorded, it is immediate, and nothing gets lost.
Comments are public and permanent. People describe their symptoms, their medication and sometimes their diagnosis in a comment on a clinic's page without thinking about who can read it. We remove those when we notice.
Welcome, and we do not ask anyone to take down one that is critical. What we cannot do is reply publicly about someone's treatment, even to correct something — so our replies to clinical reviews will always look short.
Try the phone. We are not ignoring you: between patients, nobody is looking at a social inbox, and a message sent on a Friday afternoon can genuinely sit until Monday. The phone has somebody at the other end of it.
Nobody is watching these at night or on weekends. 000 for an emergency, healthdirect 1800 022 222 for urgent advice at any hour.
